Information We Collect

Web Site Usage

We keep logs of activity on our website including IP addresses and host names. This information is used to generate web site usage statistics to help us improve our site and to see where our customers are coming from.

Personal Information

When you buy our software we keep a record of your personal details such as your name, address (if provided) and e-mail. We do not keep banking or credit/debit card details. Details of the transaction are also collected and held by our payment processor FastSpring. We also keep a record of your e-mail address should you join one of our mailing lists (e.g. beta testers) or if you contact us for support, sales information etc..

We do not have access to your information if you purchase our software through either the iOS App Store or Mac App Store. Any enquiries regarding these should be directed to Apple.

We will never disclose your information to another organisation without your prior permission unless there is a legal requirement to do so.

App Usage

We use the Crashlytics service within our iOS apps to discover bugs in our software and to monitor app usage numbers, session duration, iOS versions in use and device type (iPhone, iPad etc). This information is anonymised so we can’t trace it back to a specific user. We are working on making this an opt-in feature, but if you are using older versions of our software and do not wish for this information to be collected, please upgrade the app where possible or discontinue use.

Specifically the Crashlytics service collects:

  • Installation UUID – used to link crashes with a specific instance of our app.
  • Crash traces  – used to help find bugs in our software.

Crash traces are kept for up to 90 days. All other information is kept for up to 180 days before deletion.
